Home Builders Association of Northern California : ウィキペディア英語版 | Home Builders Association of Northern California The Home Builders Association of Northern California is a professional, non-profit association committed to promoting housing for people of all income levels and the production of quality homes. HBANC's membership comprises about 1,000 home builders, trade contractors, suppliers and industry professionals in the Bay Area. Through HBANC, members can confront and obtain solutions to a multitude of building-related issues. HBANC links the individual member to the entire industry by providing information, educational and technical services, as well as networking opportunities through meetings and special events. Responding to the varied specialties within the home building industry, HBANC also has individual councils and committees that address issues from members’ unique perspectives. HBANC had previously come under criticism from environmentalists due to its filing of a lawsuit against the United States Fish and Wildlife Service claiming that the ''Endangered Species Act'' was being used by environmentalists to hinder development and economic growth.
